“From a young age, it was evident to me that I had a strong desire to become an entrepreneur. I was always fascinated by the idea of creating something from scratch, building a business, and making a positive impact on people’s lives.As I grew older, my passion for entrepreneurship only intensified. I would constantly come up with new business ideas, brainstorming ways to solve problems and meet people’s needs in innovative ways. I found myself devouring books, articles, and videos about successful entrepreneurs, learning from their experiences and taking inspiration from their journeys.

Throughout my educational years, I sought opportunities to gain practical experience in the business world. This is what led me to pursue my other passion, finance.When the time finally came, I took the leap and started Otamiser.’’

“It all began back in July 2021 when I wanted to move away from student jobs. My parents run a Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Bruges, and my educational background led me to develop a fascination with the front-end aspects of pricing. As I delved into revenue management and explored different pricing models, I realized that revenue managers have to adapt to market conditions but lack the ability to turn those conditions in their favor. This realization sparked my quest to find a way to increase property-specific demand, and that’s when the idea of ranking came into play.

During the initial year, I worked tirelessly on a proof of work and a proof of concept. Thanks to the collaboration with Lucas Ballyn, now our CTO, we successfully launched the first bootstrapped version of our solution. Since then, my life has changed, and I couldn’t be more grateful to share this journey with the most amazing team.’’
