I built my first website at 12 years old on the standard 14.4 kbs modem. Little did I know back then, I wanted to make a career out of it.
Fast forwarding to today, I am the Director of Digital Marketing for InterCoastal Net Designs, one of the few marketing companies in the US that specialize in building and marketing websites dedicated to the vacation rental industry. I lead a team of 13 marketers in a company of 55 employees for our clients from coast to coast. My marketing team’s goal is to bring qualified traffic to our in-house developed websites through SEO, PPC, email marketing & social media. Working with more than 100 revolving marketing clients month-to month, I help guide and structure the team with the knowledge I’ve acquired since I ranked my first website on Yahoo in college.
Formerly, the head webmaster at CondoLux in North Myrtle Beach, a company specializing in Myrtle Beach Vacation Rentals and Real Estate. I was on board for over 9 years and and built a dozen websites from scratch for them, all with varying integrations and coding. I’ve successfully been able to keep our top rankings in the search engines DESPITE the absolutely large competitive market. I have also implemented company-wide email ticket systems and intranets, served as project manager on numerous large scale system-wide overhauls, and developed helpful tools from the ground-up to help attract more bookings. Overall, a huge success.
