Ginger, alongside her husband Hunter, has made significant strides in the vacation rental market through their company, Beachball Properties. Over the last 8 years, they’ve expanded their operations to include over 260 properties along the Alabama Gulf Coast, achieving remarkable growth in a highly competitive market. Their success is attributed to a strategic approach that combines strong branding, effective use of social media, and community-focused marketing strategies.

Ginger obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Alabama, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi. Beyond her educational achievements, she co-founded Girls on the Gulf, a blog and social media platform that promotes local businesses to tourists. She’s also behind popular Facebook Groups that collectively boast over 100,000 members, dedicated to sharing information and deals about the Gulf Coast.

Her community involvement is extensive. Ginger serves on The University of Alabama College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Leadership Board and is the 2023-2024 President of the Pleasure Island Junior Woman’s Club, focusing on providing clothing for underprivileged children. She and Hunter chaired the 2023 Baldwin Art for Heart Gala, raising over $310,000 for the American Heart Association. They’re also active in local business and real estate development initiatives, contributing significantly to the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber.

Professionally, Ginger is a respected voice in the vacation rental industry, sharing her insights at major conferences and through podcasts. She’s recognized for her leadership and expertise, contributing to panels and discussions that shape the industry. Additionally, she’s an advisory board member for The 100 Collection, which recognizes top vacation rentals, and co-author of the book “Vacation Rental Secrets.”

On a personal note, Ginger and Hunter have built a strong family foundation since marrying in 2013, raising two children, Lowery and Tenn. Their partnership extends beyond their personal lives into their professional endeavors, where they’ve built a business that not only thrives economically but also contributes positively to their community.
