Bill Whichard

Bill is a founding member of Whichard Woolard & Mitchell Wealth Management. The seasoned team has 9 professionals with collective industry experience of over 170 years. Together, they specialize in providing customized planning solutions for high net-worth families and business owners. Their practice is centered around understanding the “why” of the client’s motivations, enabling them to effectively achieve the desired results. Bill firmly believes that experienced plays a critical role in successfully navigating complex planning objectives.

Bill is actively involved in his community and has dedicated his time to serving on various boards, including the Boys & Girls Club of the Albemarle. He has been passionately involved with this organization since its inception in 2004. Bill strongly believes in the importance of helping those in need and has participated in numerous mission trips to the North Carolina mountains, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. Additionally, he serves on the board of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Foundation. Outside of work, Bill finds joy in various activities such as boating, traveling, and hiking in the mountains. In fact, he and his two daughters are currently section hiking the Appalachian Trail.
