Staylist’s origin story would feel all-too-familiar to anyone who’s as much as dabbled in hospitality. It features ringing phones, hand-drawn maps, and folios that never quite seemed to reconcile, no matter how many drink orders you tried to make sense of.

In many industries, this would be a “very busy day.” In hospitality, it’s just Thursday.

We found ourselves wondering if there was any software out there that could take away some friction out of our day-to-day operations, many of which we felt could be automated.

Of course, there were options — many of them — but none of them seemed to hit the mark. At best, they empowered us to make new insights and serve more guests, not without adding much complexity. At worst, they made our days more complicated with no payoff.

Our wish for you is that you’ll feel the empathy woven into our product. We worked along with our customers, testing every feature in live environments, from call queues to camp stores. When something didn’t fit, we fixed it fast.
